Yes, quite naked, with strategically-placed bars so it would pass the Comic Code. Thank you Shooter/Perez! :w00t:

(and no, they never explained why she had to be naked, but I am not complaining.)

Yes, and not just for one or two panels, either. She spends pretty much the entire comic that way.

To temper expectations somewhat, we're talking about a total of 8-10 panels across the whole comic. There's a subplot of the Avengers trying to locate Ultron's lab plus their fight against Ultron, little of either showing much of the Wasp-as-mad-scientist-subject scene we see here.

Still, the standard procedure for comics of that period was to show something like this on the cover to get fanboys to buy the comic, then only show a couple of panels of the actual scene inside. I don't blame them - sex sells, but the Comics Code wouldn't let them go very far.
